Jason Ji is an indie-folk artist and a multi-genre guitarist from Perth, Australia. He is an endorsed artist by Seagull & Godin Guitars, as well as G7th Capo. Jason has been applying his innovative percussive playing to the craft of songwriting & composition. Jason graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a scholarship in 2021.
Jason's one-man band style on the guitar creates a unique a captivating sound that earned him praises from music legends such as Nile Rodgers and Jim Lauderdale. He has been featured in numerous events including Guitar Night: Pop and Rock, the 2022 Agganis Arena for Berklee Commencement Concert, the 2019 International Folk Festival, and China's Got Talent, where he received a unanimous vote of "yes" from the judges.
Jason is the lead acoustic guitarist & music director for Speechless Music, Cover Story Entertainment, and Encounter Church. He has a residency at the Omni Boston Hotel, The Mariott Hotel Seaport, and Tuscan Kitchen. Jason also frequently performs for Sofar Sounds all over New England.
